I may not be THE most domestic diva out there, but I LOVE household tips and tricks that help make life a little easier, and I love sharing them, too. Here’s one I used this week, after the millionth time I looked at what I thought were my ruined glass candle sconces filled with melted, unbudgeable candle wax. I put my sconces in the freezer, and after a couple of days I took them out and placed avfolded towel on the counter, turned them upside down and gave them a gentle, but firm, rap onto the towel-padded surface. The wax popped out immediately! I just had to scrape little bits off, whihc I did under cold running water and I had my clean glass sconces back. Now, I just have to find a candle that won’t color my walls with toxic soot!
